The known scape. The ethereal sense of time passing, and yet standing still in our shared memory, the link between all cultures. My photographic, mixed media work, shows the interior of a country house that has been without human habitation for over 30 years. Broken windows have allowed swallows to fly throughout and to nest high on the picture rails. They have patterned the walls in years of habitation, their own documentation of their continued return to their nests,

Drawings. Pencil on paper.
My drawings are somewhat photographic, yet not. I attempt to portray the hard gaze, the intensity of light as pattern. What the eye chooses to remember.
